About the Gifts
Burlap & Barrel is more than a spice company, It is a Public Benefit Corporation building new international spice supply chains that are equitable, transparent, and traceable. The Cured Sumac and Silk Chili feature prominently in many of the Room at the Table recipes.
Elana Gabrielle is an illustrator, maker, and designer of printed textile and paper goods for the body and home. Her handmade goods mirror the environment by focusing on form and function, using sustainable practices and natural fibers, dyes, and inks. Her nasturtium tea towel, in blush, is inspired by wild and cultivated edible and medicinal plants. It is made of cotton.
The marble salt cellar is sourced from Creative Women, a fair-trade certified company working to uplift female artisans around the globe. They currently work with over 1400 women in 9 countries. Each marble salt cellar is carefully hand-carved from a solid block of marble from India.
