In August, Elie and I celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary with a getaway to Vancouver. While we visit Vancouver often, it’s always with Theo to visit family. We seldom get to just wander the neighborhoods, sit uninterrupted in coffee shops, window shop at leisure and linger over long dinners, holding hands across the table.
Read MoreI'm at the stage of motherhood where I want to go back and relive the last 26 months all over again, knowing what I know now. Knowing that tiny infant, who needed the comfort of my chest and the warmth of my breath on the top of his head to sleep for hours, would, in […]
Read MoreI can't believe it's taken me this long to share my recipe for shakshuka, since it's a staple in our home, one we make a few times a month, for breakfast and, most often, for dinner. I'm sure you must know about shakshuka, right? Ottolenghi made the dish famous in 2012 with the publication of […]

And, because this is what we’re eating this week as we sit in the hospital and wait for Moe’s heart […]
Read MoreIt’s such a treat to have my Mom and Granny staying with us this week. We’ve cooked and baked, gone antiquing, window shopped, and sat around reminiscing. These times are precious, the moments that you’d like to capture and suspend in time. I’ve always found the best conversations in life happen in the kitchen or […]
